So what got me confused with my issue is that my TP Deco mesh Network cannot find its static IP address unless it is the only network item plugged into the modem. So I had to unplug my network switch for my office and my roommate's switch from the modem before powering everything back on.

I was trying to reply to my original post and I ended up replying to yours. Oopsie. I do appreciate it when other people inform folks that they need to unplug and plug back in before calling me. You save your IT department multiple hours in non-issue calls.

Just so you all know. IT doesn't just tell you to unplug and plug it back in to torment you. I've been struggling to figure out a network issue that I've been having at home, and I finally broke down and unplugged everything and slowly plugged it all in one by one again. It fixed everything.
