I’m def in that overwhelming majority. I wasn’t able to watch Wild Style till much later. It was def in the DVD era already. Same with hearing the sampled dialog from Style Wars. Kase 2’s “King of styyyle….” Scene especially.

I was in the 7th grade when this shit dropped and it blew my mind. Been a Paris fan ever since. There’s a few uptempo joints on the album but his subsequent work was a lot more downtempo and funky. What you’d expect from the bay but still very good.
