Are the apps youβre running into issues with on this list? avarayr.github.io/shamelectron/
Individual app developers can fix the issue in a specific app by updating it to use a newer version of Electron, but the better news is that hopefully Apple have fixed the general issue in 26.2

Hey, thanks for sharing your solution ππ» One thing I'm doing with this year's Advent of Code is using it as an opportunity to learn more about Go, so I really appreciate seeing a solution from someone more experience in the language.
Ooh, didnβt know Kathryn Williams had a new album out. Will check this out.
Big fan of Ed Harcourt too!
Havenβt upgraded to Tahoe yet, but have bookmarked this ready for when I do. Cheers!
β€οΈ a couple of the recent updates too e.g. pinning within tags.
π― After not using it for a while, I came back to Bear at the start of this year and it's stuck as my main note taking app.
Seems to strike a good balance of features without being overcomplicated. And the polish makes a big difference like you say π

Had disappeared for me yesterday just after reading your post, but is back again this morning π
So grateful to to Thoughtworks for hosting our first workshop of 2025!
Great to have a mixture of codebar regulars and some new folks π©·
Great conversation! Just in case nobody else has reported it though, there seems to be something off with the chapter markers in this episode.
I checked it in Pocket Casts too and seems similar so isnβt specific to Overcast.
Registration is now open for our first in-person workshop of 2025 π
π Tuesday, 18th March from 18:30
πThoughtworks, Jactin House, 24 Hood St, Ancoats, Manchester, M4 6WX

Same reason Iβve gone back to iTerm for now. The performance difference of Ghostty is definitely noticeable so going to continue to keep an eye on it.
Did you see the Ghostty GitHub issue about Find? Likely will come at some point but just not an immediate priority.

Wow that is a big jump π Glad it all went smoothly.
Really impressed with all the tooling around pg. I also did a SQLite migration of real data using pgloader recently, worked π
No issues with SQLite, just wanted to get it on pg for consistency once the project had been up and running for a while.
@excid3.com Hi Chris π
Just followed the instructions from your GoRails article to do a Postgres 15 to 17 upgrade on DigitalOcean.
All looks to have gone smoothly βΊοΈ Really appreciated the clear and concise steps ππ»
π― Love the kind way your colleague worded the review comment - βcould this be removedβ¦β π₯°
βSometimes one just has to acknowledge that a banana isnβt an egg.β
Going to be stealing that for a variety of contexts.

Built a couple of new features in the app I made to keep track of my personal finances π§π»βπ»
