In WA state we have a D state senator who owns a dealership chain and blocks anything that could hurt their business. They voted to allow Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid to direct sale, but nothing from the traditional OEMs. Plenty of Dems like/own dealerships too.

Would extending the sessions or having same length but Spring and Fall sessions help with this (which doubles the total time in session)? Feels like on the short years a lot of stuff gets left behind.

I once made the mistake of grabbing a box lunch on "Board Meeting day" at the startup. They later sent a company wide email saying not to do that and some board members went without lunch. Oopsie.

I procured a Taycan Cross Turismo. My partner suggested a SUV at first, but after a few rides she understood my choice. No regrets at all. Love my speed wagon.
