Finished painting up the #Khymaera Death Dealers from #Warmachine! :3 I like how the enamel wash made them look. I should practice more with those #VillianyInk enamels :D

been working on some #Khymaera Death Dealers lately. they're nearly done except for the basing. tried using some of the new #Vallejo true metallic metals paints and tried to do some highlights with it. still a lot of practice needed but it's a start!

I don't have any other photos at the moment; I know that my phone's colour correction does blow out the colours a good bit :/ I'll try and get something better posted later :) I don't have any of the GW shades; been mainly using Army Painter
I could try going a little more heavy-handed with the washes I used 🤔Easy enough to re-highlight afterwards as needed. I'd lean towards a dark oil or enamel wash but all I have currently is #VillainyInks Goon's Grime; a somewhat gritty brown enamel wash and not sure I want to use it here.

Played a game of #Warmachine at my FLGS last night :D It was the new 'High Stakes' #SR2026 scenario. Nyxyan & friends were getting pretty well rocked during the defender's 2nd turn (I was the attacker) but they left Yana, their warcaster, exposed & I burned her down with lots of Howling Flames :3
TFW you're at work, no work is coming into your queue, & you could be home & painting minis during downtime instead. :c I miss my work from home days; the higher ups decided to revoke all remote agreements last July & so now we just kinda take up space when there's nothing going on. :c
Nyxyan the Stygian Coil has been up on my painting handle recently :3 Still have to do her base but I think otherwise she's good to go :D

H'ok, applied some dark wash to antique it up a bit and some rust to the steel bits for more je ne sais rust. Not a huge change from before but certainly looks more weathered I think :3 Base still needs a tuft or two.

I'm undecided on how rusty I want to make the golden bits--might just use some washes to go for a dirty, antique gold look; as for the dark steel bits I'll be doing some stippled dark rust (maybe some light rust, too, if I pick some up) :D
Thanks! It's Army Painter's "Emperor Gold" from one of the John Blanche sets :3 It's got a nice reddish tint that, with enough texture will settle nicely into recesses :3

Think I'm finished with Sin Buddy here. I need to touch up the base more and add a couple tufts or some such. But all in all pretty happy with how he turned out. I still need to get better at photographing though! The colours aren't nearly so stark in person.

Working on painting up Mr. Sins here from #TrenchCrusade :D So far I've only put some #P3 Molten Bronze paint. Really digging the colour :3 I need to finish up all the base coats & then I can start grunging it up with some #ArmyPainter Verdigris & some #VillainyInk Goon's Grime & Carrion Crimson :3
Recently I've had a time trying to figure out when I'd be able to get some minis primed. Plus I just received the #Khymaera #Warmachine auxiliary box on Sunday. Yesterday was finally open & the wind light & I got those & some #TrenchCrusade minis primed & ready for painting :D
