Great day in London today with @teacherhead.bsky.social and @mattteachcoach.bsky.social. Really inspiring to work with the amazing @walkthrus.bsky.social team. Feeling really fired up about leading training and supporting schools to implement WalkThrus with precision.

Every time we make a new tune I think it could be our best yet... So here's the latest.
Under the Clock
I made this up about 20 years ago on the piano but Tom AP has just completed the lyrics and vocals. It’s rather beautiful. on.soundcloud.com/JVyw8AJ55qpc...

Very relevant to MFL when considering interactions between pupils and teachers and pupil-pupil practice. Is everyone taking part and learning?

"Their assumption seems to be that if the student is present in the room, it’s their responsibility to engage, not the teacher’s responsibility to engage them."

A fantastic day @walkthrus.bsky.social annual conference in London today. Thought provoking and lots of practical ideas to take away. Great to hear inspiring case stories of WalkThrus in action in schools. @teacherhead.bsky.social @mattteachcoach.bsky.social

I take the idea from @efratfurst.bsky.social’s work and it is helpful. Learning has some phases starting with encoding. If that part doesn’t happen, the rest can’t. It’s all too common. It’s not just sophistry as you seem to be suggesting.

Another anniversary. 17th May 2019 is Rosenshine In Action day. The little red booklet peaked at #17 in the book charts for all books which blew my mind. I think we’ve sold 200,000 copies of it … Enthusiasm for a short book led to the birth of the In Action series. amazon.co.uk/Rosenshines-Pr… >
