I'm not sure where the head sculpt originated (could be Ye Luoli?), but this is a common no-name/knockoff type doll found on sites like Aliexpress and Amazon. The body is a clone of the old articulated fashionista.
I don't have an iPad and I haven't tried Feather but Nomad is a really excellent 3D sculpting program on iPad if that's a direction you wanted to look in.
Oh binocular but weird haha. I have different astigmatism in each eye, plus one nearsighted one farsighted. The nearsighted one is much stronger, farsighted has much worse astigmatism.
Yes, I have to really put mental effort into "flattening" real life vs a photo.
My eye definitely flattens things to shapes and angles. I'm bad at proportions but see negative space, etc. I'm less good at seeing color and value shifts. And drawing from life is much harder.

Nice job! If you have any bits of the hard plastic in the color that you're willing to sacrifice, you can melt it into a paste with acetone and use it to fill the hole.

I have a lot of thrifted paints and yeah, that makes sense. I've used pantyhose material to strain before, but it's slow. I usually tend towards being overly paranoid and stopping to clean the nozzle before it starts building up which probably helps with clogs but not overall fun experience
This isn't your fault, I am convinced that airbrushes are malicious tools out to ruin your day and I only use it because I hate it slightly less than spray cans

Resione has a new resin that looks just like casted polyurethane for BJDs. I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet but the BJD artist group has been giving it very good reviews.

Genuine answer for me, I don't like my feed to be too long to keep up with so I almost always turn off reblogs/use OnlyPosts/simply don't follow people who reblog too much on Tumblr. I recognize this is not being a Good Social Media User but it helps me manage my time.
