— time for my annual check-in with Deno, how's it going over there?

Yesterday was my last day at Deno. I'm going to transition from two days a week to full time on a business I cofounded in the auto glass industry. My plan is to increase my contributions to my personal open source projects and keep contributing features/fixes to Deno that I need or want.

Personal update: I resigned from Deno two weeks ago. Yesterday was my last day at Deno.

Working on Deno, Deno Deploy, JSR, and Fresh with my world class colleagues has been an absolute honor. I wish everyone who I have worked with at Deno the absolute best - continue building groundbreaking things!

I gotta say,

The _tiling_ mode they have is the best of anything I've tried. (I've tried them all).

So easy to configure.
Intuitive, even.
For both small and big screens.

Better than:
- i3
- Sway
- Hyprland
- Aerospace
- Yabai
- ... everything.

The longer I'm alive the more I realize how essential grieving is. If you don't do it, you can't move on. If you can't move on, you're stuck. If you're stuck, you're miserable.
