Motorbike race held annually since 1907 (barring incidents like wars and pandemics) that's had 270 fatalities. As far as I know, the last and only year that it didn't have a fatality was 1982.

Got reminded the Isle of Man TT is coming up soon. It's very strange watching a race and being almost certain that someone will die during it. Statistically it'd be weirder for no one to die during it.

It’s literally the easiest thing in the world to be quiet, if you can’t manage that then go to another carriage. I gave up being a misanthrope a long time ago but being on the quiet carriage is the easiest way to make me feel it again. Just no empathy for the people who could use a quiet space.

Is there any reason to have quiet carriages on the train at all? Literally every time I go onto them, you have the loudest pricks on the planet being obnoxious. It’s like they do it on purpose.

I never appreciated how difficult it is until I tried drawing them myself. Maybe I should give it another go now that I have a pair of both to use as reference.

I actually went down this rabbit hole and compared a bunch of them to a real GBA. I personally like lcd-grid-v2-gba-color if you want something accurate, LCD3x with colour correction enabled if you want something that feels suitably GBA but without the flaws.
