Last night at Transform's online conference a vote was carried to dissolve the Transform Party in light of the advent of a new mass left party. The conference also recommended that the Party Council, in winding up the party, bequeath remaining assets to Your Party Connections local group network.

Transform in Nottinghamshire continues to support a new Party of the left that is democratic, diverse and focuses on community and workplace organisation. We continue to seek to build such a party in Your Party groups locally. This project is bigger than any individual, no matter how famous.

I want to issue a public correction and a sincere apology for an error.
In that article, I said 500,000 people had signed up. That was incorrect.
It is now 600,000 — and counting.
