I would say it's only acutely painful in the moment and then it's tender to the touch for a few days - the full body soreness got me this time but I didn't notice it the first time so I have no idea how it'll affect other people. But yeah I think ibuprofen or whatever would completely mitigate it.

The lumps this time are a little inflamed at the injection sites (red and tender to the touch) and I've had a few days of full body soreness - both commonly expected side effects, from what I've read. Hopefully I'll feel totally normal soon.
Second round done! Still painful, no pills this time. Ready to go home and sleep it off haha
To be clear, the lumps have never been visible. If you run your fingers over a specific part of my stomach you can feel them. Nobody has ever commented on them without me specifically pointing them out, they are not obtrusive in any way. I assume they'll slowly continue to dissipate over time.
Update! I'm in the waiting room for my second Yeztugo injection. I still have noticeable lumps under the skin of my stomach from the first injection, 6 months later. They're not quite as prevalent but still extremely noticeable.
