With Java out here with me, one might assume this is an old kennel of hers. But as you can see she’s far more interested in the Sienna (“let’s go!”) than the kennel.

Fidget was 16lbs, and the kennel is the 48” Petmate Kennel. Java, 80lbs, could happily fit in it, but she has kennel aversion from her puppy days.

More vacuum guts. Lidar unit only freely spun a few revolutions and then stopped. The belt is intact. Removed a stray hair or two that seemed wrapped in the area and put everything back together. I have no idea how a hair even really got in this space.

It threw a lidar sensor error. If I had a warranty, it’s void now, but I’ve wanted to see its guts for a while.

Repair paused for the moment. I don’t have a long Torx for some deep set screws.

All good. No power since 1:15pm yesterday but doing the camping thing at home. Gusts of wind and rain pretty bad but so far all good.

As tolerated, warm compresses and massage of hips and legs does seem to provide some comfort.

With a not perfect right, she needed a lot of help navigating my few stairs to the house. Looked for sling or knee braces at Petco here but found nothing (outer island problems). I have been using an old beach towel as a makeshift sling around her middle to help hold her back end up as she walked.

Oh no!

Last year, Java jacked her right knee up. We got gabapentin for it and we’re told immobilize her except for bathroom and eating. Took over a year but right seemed to slowly heal.

Couple of weeks ago she did it again, but it’s the left.
