The Witch Hat Atelier anime is as beautiful as the manga.
Just so delightful to watch...
Should be illegal to have a migraine on a Sunday. 😠
Love this!
Oof, that's one hell of an album.
Conversation topics at my LCS today 18/04/2026:- Dr. Who, Image Comics, Esad Ribić, Gambit, the ongoing Absolute line, Alan Moore, For All Mankind, Forbidden Planet, Greggs, the French going open source.
No Image Comics delivered to my LCS, which made me sad.
But I did pick up a very clean copy of X-Men #266 and the first appearance of Gambit for a very good price.
Panel from an old comic I have since lost (on the internet) displaying an extreme close-up of someone in a blue star mask thinking "This skyscraper is full of nazis. I'm going to tear it down."
Now Listening...
Just watched that Mcartney missing bass show. Not sure I liked the part where they slagged off Hawkwind.
Black and white photograph of Can. Holger Czukay, Jaki Liebezeit, Irmin Schmidt and Michael Karoli.
“I am from the School of Pain, which is called Can! We four criticised each other pitilessly, but especially Jaki. It’s like giving birth to something which is painful but absolutely worth it. Otherwise it wouldn’t have existed.”

Fela!
"Is this..." butterfly meme with Is This The Pope? and 1990s 2000AD comic Canon Fodder.
Feeling very British Comics today.
Exactly!
No, I do not want you to summarise the email, I wish to read it and understand myself, using my 20 years of knowledge doing this job.
Fuck off and leave me alone.
It’s profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that that’s what Daredevil is for
"When my wife's beloved Kindle DX was bricked by obsolescence through no fault of her own, it gave me a frisson of excitement and anticipation to take on Darth Bezos and break open the Kindle so she could once again read her favorite books"

I adore this book!
I own one Scorpions album.
It was produced by Conny Plank, so that’s why I have it.
we don’t owe the “why didn’t she report it” crowd a single response
I have comics to read, coffee to drink and my Sandy Denny/Maddy Prior compilation playing quietly in the background.
My Saturday couldn’t get better than this.
A crudely made sign stand of bundled bamboo held together with wire, upon which is mounted a roughly made sign of a single piece of wood, painted black, on which someone has crudely written BOOKS with an arrow pointing to the right, in a street somewhere.
When I know it's definitely a trap, but I'm going anyway.
Conversation topics at my LCS today 11/04/2026:- Firestorm, Pokémon, gatekeeping/obnoxious shop owners, For All Mankind, Daredevil, Punch the monkey, Fantagraphics and Diamond UK.
Quick visit today as there were far too many hangers on and not enough comics people.
Here’s a little over two hours of an alibi for @deathincalabria.bsky.social. Enjoy!
Cell of cartoon strip: a boy, Gilbert Ratchet, is in conversation with a portly gentleman in middle age, whose jumper says ‘DAD’ on it. The man says “YOU NIT, GILBERT! WITHOUT THE INTERNET, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO POST COMMENTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA? AS A MIDDLE-AGED MAN IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT I EXPRESS MY OPINIONS ON A WIDE RANGE OF SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ISSUES!”
Can’t say I’m happy with this personal attack on me in the current Viz. Uncalled for
