I hated serial killers until I got that first rush of my hands squeezing tighter and tighter around a helpless delicate neck

New mission
That's actually the opposite of an idea! That's not thinking at all!
Ugh, I gotta wait a whole ding dang month for Game Changer WE MIGHT NOT EVEN BE ALIVE THEN
YEAHHHHHH
I'm excited to listen back after having the context for the first episode, but I have also been thinking about this nonstop
I was flipping through Means of Magick the other day and marveling at this guy's work
Query:
If you (or someone you watch/listen to) had a NON-TTRPG/Actual Play podcast, YouTube channel, etc.
AND
Played a tabletop roleplaying game on that feed/channel/etc
BEFORE 12/31/2018
could you let me know?
(I have some examples but trying to see if I missed anything)
Gunpointing is a noir/neo-noir game built around dramatic gunplay. Characters are created with feats that have both pros and cons. Actions are resolved by playing cards from a hand, allowing players to plan for success and failure. It's free!!!

There should be more romantic games where you might murder each other. There should be stakes!
Sometimes people ask me, "Is this good for a date night?" and my answer is yes, BUT your characters might murder each other so don't play as yourselves
I really think it was the other way around-- she was all flash. Like, yeah, she says some kickass shit, but then she turns around and half-endorses capitalism and the systems she supposedly opposes
I made enough money off of it, so my first and favorite game I made is now totally free. It Takes This Long is a two-player game about estranged people stranded on a desert island together with crazy stuff like dinosaurs and unexploded nukes.

It doesn't have the extra bells and whistles I had planned, but Galleons of the Thunderosa is a good little 99-percent standalone TTRPG that can be plugged into your favorite game. Live your Wacky Races dreams with your friends for just $2!

Failing to fund Galleons of the Thunderosa was... tough. My first failed crowdfunder.
So I decided to do three pretty cool things:
1. Released Galleons of the Thunderosa anyway
2. Made my first game, It Takes This Long, free
3. Released the ashcan version of a new game, Gunpointing
One of the implications being Yoshi CHEESE
I get why people have mixed feelings on the Mario Galaxy Movie, but I'm fine with them giving Yoshi a butthole instead of a cloaca. It doesn't affect the story.
Pretty much everything you've heard about Mario Galaxy is true, but there's a couple of parts with a hand puppet that's animated REALLY well in a way I've never seen
It's been a while, and I know the book is specifically anti-Stalin, but saying it's anti-communist is bananas, right? Like, beloved Old Major is Karl Marx and Orwell was a democratic socialist. Which isn't communism, but sure ain't anti-communist either
I need to make a pseudo-sequel to FLOPS that re-uses the director/star/writer/producer classes and does exactly what @rahrah.bsky.social is talking about.
A TTRPG where the PCs are in a creative power struggle with each other...
Instagram comments Me: Can't wait to see how Angel Studios spins this as pro capitalism Animalfarmthemovie: This adaptation of Animal Farm is true to the anti-communist and anti-cronyist toots of the book. See for yourself when Animal Farm hits theaters on May 1st!
Christ almighty
Oh wow, the Digital Circus finale is the FINALE finale
You're not talking @roleplayretcon.bsky.social or Film Reroll, you mean the story is about a cast and crew making a movie?
We also kiiiind of did it during the live stream of Flops by @imbenvincible.bsky.social

Now that I've been a wizard and a detective for a while, maybe I should read The Dresden Files
TTRPG designers will be like, what if a resolution mechanic is eating soup? And not realize they're just hungry
In which I may or may not be playing a deeply disturbed former prisoner turned bacon maker with an itchy trigger finger
Do you know that the Bible wasn't written in English and quibbling over the meaning of slight grammatical differences is pointless for a translated text
Seeing Hannah is Not a Boys Name again gave me whiplash
Friends, again with respect because this is a complex issue: children born to citizens of tribal governments do not have constitutional birthright citizenship under many, if not most forms of constitutional argument and authority (incl. Supreme Court precedent relied upon in this case)./1
