these days swanboy is doing one of those things where you just kind of mash the triangle-square-circle-x after a big jump and end up implausibly doing some kind of high point trick over achewood in "webcomics that give us things we'll think about the rest of our lives"

Spider dreams guaranteed
Got these for a transatlantic flight from Seattle. Took effect about 20 minutes from consumption. I slept for about 4 hours and continued to use them to adjust to the timezone change. Every night I had the same dream about a spider wrapping me in a web very tightly and speaking backwards. It seemed very scared and was furious I could not understand what it was trying to say. 20 years passed in the dream world and eventually the spider and I became close friends and four years later we were married. Understandably our differences were too much and our relationship fell apart from the inside. My infidelity was the last straw and we never recovered from the betrayal. I would always wake up write before we signed the divorce papers. I had this same dream every night for 6 days. Great product. Highly recommend.

something I have tried to do in my career every time I have been given an opportunity to do so (not many times) is pitch a commercial where people have an instant recognition and over-the-top reaction to a character actor appearing in a commercial. So far, nobody's taken me up on it

it is also just really phenomenal that, in their ad in WEIRD TALES magazine, the AMORC lets you know that they're the ONLY organization endorsed by the deathless sages in tibet

The sun setting over the Severn Estuary as seen from the top of Uley Bury hill fort. I took this photo in September, 2021, on the most perfect windless evening, feeling euphoric having finished the edits on my debut novel, Villager. The whole walk felt like I'd temporarily stepped inside a Kit Williams painting, which was apt since for the last several decades he has lived not far from here, and the landscape was a prime inspiration for his masterpiece Masquerade. I still associate this scene with Villager, which, although it's inspired by a more rugged landscape a couple of hours south west of here, it has some very Villager elements. If you are new to my writing and would like to read an excerpt from the book (one of the sillier, easier-to-read parts of it) you'll find one in the link. I promise it's not shit.

Almost certainly the best photo I will ever take from an Iron Age hillfort of the sun setting over an estuary as summer segues majestically into autumn.
