🌸🍜 My twist on Sakura Somen (cherry blossom thin noodles). The pink “cream” sauce is made from silken tofu, umeboshi (pickled plums) and benishoga (pickled ginger). The green sauce is a scallion, parsley, and nori blended in olive oil.

I’m working on designing a series of cheeky greeting cards that blend 17th century art with contemporary unhinged captions. Think: refined raunch and highbrow heat.

Any recommendations of local Providence-area printers to collaborate with?

Oof, yeah, the pricing algorithm is wild. I go back down to NYC regularly for work, but I know my travel dates months in advance. My next trip is in a couple of weeks, but I booked back in November and got a $60 round trip from Providence.

February 28 incident - Wikipedia

It is now February 28 in Taiwan—one of the most significant dates in modern Taiwanese history.

First and foremost, 228 is associated with the February 28 Massacre in 1947. Contrary to a common myth, it's not just one date, just one incident, or even just in Taiwan.
