If a tonne is 1000 kg, then burning a litre of gasoline pushes 2.45 kg of CO² into the already too hot atmosphere.
For an 80 litre tank of gas weighing about 60 kg, that's almost 200 kg of CO². WHY do we even drive anymore.

An "active state" as described in this article, might be the only way we can combat global warming. Waiting for investors to create a carbon neutral planet will take too long. The tipping point window is likely already here. Is #CanadaStrong enough to realize this?

To come back to CO2 levels (and therefore T°C) prior to industrial era we need to capture and keep this CO2 under a stable form either by natural capture (trees) or CCS to re-inject it in tanks.
