The original chef Leah Chase was the original inspiration for Tiana in Disney’s Princess and the Frog, so this was a pilgrimage stop.

Me and Blake very early at the Leather Party. Big neons blue sign that says “EAT.” We’re standing beneath it under a red lighting wash. Blake in harness and leather shorts, me in harness and neoprene jock. Both in black boots. The entrance is to a restaurant at the club that’s not open.
