Ignoring a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) can lead to costlier problems down the road, but for young adults transitioning to health management independence, they may not have access to the care required to address this.
So what can be done to assist this vulnerable age group?
What can you do when you're 23 years old with a UTI and can't take off work?
For Sasha, the unfortunate answer was to do nothing. Soon, her UTI developed into a kidney infection, and she was forced to miss work, ultimately losing her job.
