I regret not seeing her more now... I saw her at the Rock Werchter festival in 1990. To give you an idea how she was on stage back then, this is a recording from a similar festival in The Netherlands in 1988.

Great album, great track! ♥️🔥
That happens sometimes.😊 I’ve had it with R.E.M.’s Losing My Religion. And I still love Wham! too! Even if some people don’t consider it “high quality,” the music you grew up with—music that meant something to you—stays with you.
Weird fact: In the UK and US, the original LP/CD versions of Make It Big typically have eight tracks and do not list “Careless Whisper” as part of the album. It was instead issued as a separate single. I remember buying it.

Yes, she really was. I only saw her perform live once, but she left a lasting impression, so intense. Some singers just perform songs, but others put their whole being into them, and Sinéad definitely belonged to that second group.
I know what you mean! 😄 Good luck with it!
It took a while for “Bonny” to reach that “best song” spot. “Goodbye Lucille” was my favourite for a long time. I guess it’s the kind of song that grows on you.
I agree 💯
Great song! 👍🔥
I also have a song from this album in my top 10 😊
👍🔥🎶
My favourite too, such an amazing song!
Looking forward to your Paul Young AF15 👍😊
Best track on the album. I’ve played this album so much, my friends and I were huge Wham! fans 😊

I once visited Bray, the coastal Dublin suburb where Sinéad lived for 18 years in a seafront home and where her funeral procession passed down her street. I was there for the Bray Cliff Walk. Bono still has a home 7 km north along the same beautiful coast.

Sinéad O'Connor - Mandinka
Hearing she'd passed hit me hard. Amazing artist with such a beautiful voice, a survivor of a brutal childhood she fought so fiercely to overcome. But she left us amazing music. Thank you Sinéad ♥️/1

Putin moet sowieso weg😉
narrative at a moment when his career and public image are under pressure. In short: they take his illness seriously, but not as a blanket justification for his actions.'
Thank you Perplexity!
His latest outburst still feels fresh (2025), so canceling concerts is justified I think.
