It’s crazy you can just be going through a cancer diagnosis and then head into to drop your kid off for daycare and head into work. Like what. #Cansky

Good morning #Cansky

Reminder there needs to be more resources for young adult survivors navigating their professional development in the work force.

Happy Tuesday #Cansky. Reminder- it’s okay to get a second or third opinion. Any Dr. worth their merit would encourage it.

Good afternoon #Cansky

It’s AYA Cancer Awareness Week. Adolescence and young adults are faced with unique challenges after a cancer diagnosis.

Whether it’s financial toxicity, delaying professional development in careers, fertility, or other things.

It’s a lot and it’s not talked about enough.

Just remember, there will be people today claiming we still have not been to space as we’re looking at live shots of the moon.

Also remember these people vote.

Sorry folks I don’t have any patience for this on my page. Maybe it’s harsh, but 🤷🏻‍♂️

Again, this is what I’m talking about… cancer patients daily will hear this bull shit. #Cansky

#Cansky don’t allow somebody to minimize your cancer diagnosis. No matter what stage, grade, type, etc., until somebody has set in a chair and told they have cancer. They have no room to speak.

A view of Planet Earth in which the brown and green land is seen dotted amidst the blue sea. Some white whispy clouds roll across the hemispheres. The bottom right of the outline of earth is glowing from the light of the sun. The outline of the Orion window is faintly visible in the photo

PHOTO OF THE DAY: Perhaps of the greatest photos ever taken.

Captured by the crew of Artemis II this morning, looking at all of us through the window of the Orion capsule. The outline of the window is faintly visible in the photo.

Breathtaking.

100% agree. There still seems to be a lag between research or scientist and doctors utilizing Bluesky over Twitter.
