So what if it's hypocrisy? In your opinion.
The problem Democrats have is they are failing to learn. You guys did this entire thing. Harris spent a billion dollars saying what you're saying now. Your whole plan is repetition. Maybe it will work now after failing before?
If you want to win, change.

So maybe they're fine with the worst thing happening. Maybe they suck.
They question is what are you going to do about it? Complain? Stay mad? Keep doing this guilt trip? If the guilt worked, Harris would be president.
We know this shit doesn't work. Try something else, or get out of the way.
The Democrats spent two weeks bellyaching about Hasan Piker while Trump started another illegal war.
Maybe not the best source for advice on distraction.
If I withhold my vote from both Republicans and Democrats who are on AIPAC's payroll, I'm treating them equally. Whining about "punishment" just makes you look like a pathetic party that can't win.
Look there's votes to be had if you take a stand against genocide. You either want them, or you don't
Day 3 of telling people to go follow @patrickhwillems.bsky.social because he deserves a million subscribers. I've never met him. This campaign is simply because I'm a fan of his work and wish him the best. What's your favorite essay from him? TELL ME!
Imagine how much more money the government could save if they made the barrier to entry as high as the FAFSA for everything.
The thousands of hours spent filling out this 22 page form are compounded by paying someone to read each one. This is the vast waste of means testing.
horseshoe theory is real. leftists almost got kat abughazaleh elected into congress and now it comes out that her boyfriend owns infowars…
How did the Taliban get so strong? What allowed them to take control of the country?
I bet whoever helped them defeat the Soviets felt like a clown when they saw those Buddhas getting shelled
An enlightened policy, the media owned by the rich attacks you right up to the next election. The rewards for success don't appear in time. Only if you're somehow reelected once or twice can you say it worked.
Mamdani's platform is instant payoff initiatives for a reason.
Mostly because the short term benefits (optics) of cracking down arrive before the next election. The longer term consequences of the failed policy don't come home to roost until one or two elections later. You've either moved on to higher office, or you can find a scapegoat and repeat.
leftists are my greatest adversary because they are destroying america destroying america or being rude to you online? being rude to me online

What money infusion? There's no income tax.
The city was always ripe to be sacked by the rich. They come in, they're given everything and nothing is asked in return. Inevitable.
Like... I'm sorry, but to win future elections, you need a good chunk of the people who sat out in 2016 or 2024 to vote for you, and I just don't think that sneering at them and saying it's their fault that things are the way they are right now is going to win them over, even if you truly believe it
The Wright Flier could reach 20 mph, so yeah it could go 13 miles in 39 minutes. In theory; the aeroplane had a maximum range of a scant 120 feet
Thats why flight has no future and we need these robots. They're going to carry us, jogging, into the future on litters and palanquin. So excited robots!
How many decades ago could a jetliner autonomously take off, navigate and land with no pilot? If you really wanted it, you could. But nobody was insane enough to consider it. Because there's enough edge cases that you'd have a bloodbath.
Cars are the same but marketing gets to handwave the crashes
FSD Tesla's are suddenly legal in the Netherlands and Autoweek (Car weekly) took it for a test drive to Amsterdam. it stopped for traffic lights on a highway that were turned off and it got a 130€ ticket for choosing a bicycle street in Amsterdam
Majority of lost inventory is internal. Either incompetent inventory, or stealing by employees. Poverty wages motivate disloyalty and self-interested behavior. Having a future with the company, a real career, creates loyalty
Shortsighted bad business decisions by capitalists to don't know business.
Seeing staff walking around deters theft.
Staffing up or down from two decades ago? Wages up or down? They made a business decision to accept more shrinkage for lower labor costs. Yet whine to government to get taxpayer to subsidize loss prevention. It's a grift.
One executive admitted it on call
The connection between stock disappearing and staffing quality and quantity was made decades and decades ago. Probably centuries
This is why I think this is related to Team Beast being unable to get good shots doing the basic task of producing a reality-gameshow, a skill Man perfected last century
There’s a connection between not just shoplifting, but also violent crime, and understaffed stores with poorly paid, inexperienced staff:

I'd weigh your observations against dozens of articles detailing that in the face of online competition retailers cut costs, especially cutting staff and lowering wages. When nobody’s walking the floor, shoplifting happens. Low paid staff feel little loyalty to stop theft, or refrain from it.
Could pretty much go on all day. I think Slate or someone pointed out how old this grift is. They were manipulating media to create shoplifting hysteria in the 1920s

Compared to when?
It's always VR. They hyped it in the early 90s, it went nowhere. They came back in the late 90s. Metaverse was like VR hype train #5. It will be back.
Nuclear power does a big tantrum against negative public opinion every few years. Goes nowhere because that was never what held it back (economics)
They're called quotation marks, not paraphrase marks.
It doesn't say "similar to something else Feynman once said."
The thing about fake quotation accounts is they don't care. Which is hilarious, pretending you admire the famous atheist physicist but facts don't matter. Why not join a religion?
Quote of a thing he never said. Like putting a designer label on cheap shoes not made by who's on the label. Don't we call that fake?
Fake quote. Classic.
