Today in Portland, Oregon I planted seeds in my container garden & rode my bicycle to acupuncture. On the way I saw a clown march at Laurelwood Park & said farewell to a 40-year-old TriMet MAX train. Then my partner & I got phenomenal sushi & hiked up Powell Butte to watch the sunset.

A democracy that prioritized social safety nets, affordable housing, universal healthcare etc. wouldn’t have any need for DoorDash grandmas. In this one they deliver McDonald’s to the White House.
A worker died at an Amazon warehouse in Oregon last week.
For more than an hour, workers were instructed to continue working as the man lay dead.
One worker wanted to help, but a manager told them to “Just turn around and not look. Let’s get back to work," according to @thewesternedge.bsky.social.
Yes this is my desktop background. No I don't care that 8.3 billion people did the same.

My partner is avoiding the news to prepare for a spiritual ceremony. He asked me how I'm doing this morning. "I can't tell you." "Why not?" ... "it's low vibration"

A four panel comic from Peanuts. Sally is standing alone, holding a red balloon by the string. She looks up at the balloon, looks away again, then says, "So what's so much fun about a balloon?"
During this incredible, unifying moment of inspiring international cooperation and spectacular technological achievement, I would really appreciate it if the US president would stop threatening to murder an entire country with bombs.
What a beautiful moment.
Seems kinda nice TBH. I'd like to get farther away from humanity than anyone ever has sometimes too
I got the kite 🌈🪁

FANTASYLAND @ DISNEYLAND. Anaheim, California. October 2025.
Our neighbors picked today to excavate the side of the house next to ours. Which, fine! But we WFH. Some advance notice would be cool

So have I! Kiting can be a great full-body workout. I never considered doing it in the nude . . .
Unfortunately PDX is not known for the best kite flying conditions, but I'm framing this as an excuse to go exploring the Oregon coast / Columbia River Gorge
I'm envisioning a 75-foot rainbow tube tail so it screams gay rights as it tears up the sky
