Tom Robbins came to my University as a speaker … he was hilarious! I brought my large stack of well worn books and he graciously signed every single one with the word “boom!” “Still Life with Woodpecker” was my first and favorite.

Saw Phish at Pine Knob, an outdoor music venue… terrible lighting storm , show started really really late, one long set dancing while cold and wet. Next time Phish came to Michigan they played two nights at Van Andel stadium danced in air conditioning while Billy Strings sat in. I like indoors now.
