So, that's what keeps touching my foot! π±

I am taking a break from the hospital today. There are so many chores that need attending to, but I'm only going to do what is absolutely necessary. The son is coming with me for an afternoon showing of Project Hail Mary. Today is about rest and popcorn.
If the public can save Jimmy Kimmel's job, the public can put the squeeze on Congress to come out into public view, face hard-core questions, and feel the heat.
Omg.

I guess the Valium kicked in.
Fringe! Sleep tight friend. β€οΈ
I 100% recommend watching this performance. It made PlΓ‘cido Domingo cry and because Teo Gertler is a marvel. What a talent.

Ahhh. I hate this for you!
Hmm. I don't follow how he could say "he knew" and then say it was "unintentional." Knowing it and still doing it is the actual definition of intentional.
The irony. π
Amid rising jet fuel prices and lower demand from Canadians to travel to the U.S., airlines are cutting back on flights between the two countries.
PS. Thank you for enduring my observations as I try to recover from my own trauma and exhaustion with my mom and sister with this Summer House distraction. And, thanks to my Bluesky friends who have been so incredibly supportive these last few weeks. I love and I'm grateful for you guys. β€οΈ
Himself any favors. He's been furiously trying to avoid relevance and growing up. I appreciate that he went easy on Amanda, but he needs to leave the show. He's too old for this nonsense. And, he could have a great business partner with Carl and focus his energy there and be successful. /End
But, with West, specifically, her gut instinct was 100% correct that she should protect herself from West. She's worthy of someone who knows himself and is mature, and West has never been that guy. Chemistry is chemistry, but it can't make a relationship good. Finally, Kyle. Man, he does not do ...
Any friendship loyalty. I think she did Ciara a favor. Because, Ciara is the most mature and authentic of all of them. And, she should trust her instincts, she always felt she needed to protect her heart from West. She was correct. It's not that she doesn't trust people, which would be fair anyway..
With Amanda, he's a knight in charming armor. He's needed. Amanda sees him this way, too. She sees a man who wants to protect her and Kyle has never been that for her. She's also insecure, and dating West is a very public FU to Kyle. She didn't even consider Ciara, because her needs come before...
West is the type of guy who doesn't know who he is and doesn't know what to do about it. IMO, the whole thing with Ciara is not about her, it's about him not being able to stand not being liked. Full stop. And, in Amanda he's found a woman he feels needed by and compelled to rescue.
I'm going to step away from politics for a sec, because I've been watching easy shoes to ease my nerves. I can't watch my usual true crime. Also, I finally took a Valium, which I don't reach for often. So, I'm mindlessly watching Summer House and the whole Amanda/West/Ciara thing. My thoughts ‡οΈ
Omg. That's serious. Take care. β€οΈ
I have really bad Rosacea flares. I currently look like I'm splotched with random sunburn. It's reached my shoulders, back and eyes!
I'm going to stay home tomorrow. Because I am not okay.
Ah. Thank you!
BREAKING: Virginia voters approved a plan on Tuesday to gerrymander the stateβs congressional map to significantly favor Democrats, by eliminating four of the stateβs five Republican-held seats for the 2026 midterm elections.
I think I caught a cough from the hospital. It was a matter of time. I'm both exhausted and having a panic attack inside of that exhaustion 24/7. I've started biting my nails, mostly because they've been falling apart, like my skin, since this hospital stuff with my mom 3 weeks ago. π
I once heard a friend say that he didn't believe a woman should be President because we're too emotional. Name ONE woman who has ever gone on a shooting rampage out of anger.
Yup. Crazy pants. Up is down. Down is up.
Anyone who can't answer a direct question and then deflects and talks over the questioner should be immediately raise alarms and be treated as if they have perjured themselves. They're immediately unqualified by their inability to answer a question. I'm so fucking sick of the corruption.
In February 1777, General George Washington ordered the first mass immunization campaign in American history by mandating that his troops be inoculated against smallpox. He protected the Continental Army from an epidemic that was deadlier than British forces.
249 years later, we have this idiot.
Democratic House Rep. Marc Veasey is torching RFK Jr. for telling Rep. Suzanne Bonamici that he's never been anti-vaccine:
"That's a ridiculous lie because you're probably the most anti-vax figure I can remember in my lifetime."
