I am now going to start all of my models with a single triangle. The box is just ordered triangles, we can simplify.
While I'm a blender convert for a few years now, I'll give 3dsmax one win: hidden edge turning for ngons is sorely missed.
Also a lot of people really seemed to appreciate the snow. I did a particles per cubic unit determination across about 30 compiles over to figure out what the ideal volume should be. Too few and it doesn't even look like light snow due to particles dying out too early. Too many and it's just noise.

idk where Europeans get theirs but they probably have a lot more variety since they have more music tradition
you can use dance shoes with the right profile but suede soles is really helpful for reduced friction on the pedals. I just play with my socks but it really keeps you from using your heels very well

Sadly the non organ digital samples sound like worse than most digital pi os offer. The harpsichord sounds like a banjo which is funny though.
I love that the organ I practice on primarily has a digital chimes stop so I can just play Westminster quarters for the church staff to let them know it’s lunch lol

I'm really surprised with the number of people that said my QBJ3 map was like a Quake 2 map. I've never played or seen Quake 2. I had never played Quake 1 before (or during) the jam. My only understanding of Quake 2 came from the eQ2 texture pack for Quake 3 by Evillair.

I still can't believe how many different kinds of antialiasing we have and they still all look like ass unless graphics are supposed to be realistic
Been thinking this since like 2005. Normal Maps and projected textures were the last great graphic enhancement I remember caring about. There's sooooo much cool stuff you can do with older techniques on 2010's hardware that's barely been touched by well funded studios because it's all RT and AO
