I can see if we get a good special teams coach and a good defensive coordinator (assuming Shula leaves for a HC gig), we can easily make it to another Super Bowl and get Stafford a 2nd ring to retire with.
I am excited for the future of this team in 2026 and beyond, and I’ll always love my Rams.
That being said, there was an improvement. We went from Wild Card in 2023 to Divisional in 2024 to NFC Championship in 2025. That is what I call an improvement and a step in the positive direction.
Stafford still has more magic left in him.

Special Teams: To be honest, they cost us the season.
From the missed field goals and extra points that cost us in the beginning of the year, to the muffed punt that costed us this game. If they were even slightly competent, we win this game and get the #1 seed.

Defense: As much as I love Chris Shula, he regressed this year. The defense in the 2nd half of the season and the postseason wasn’t nearly as good as it had to be for a SB caliber team. Adjustments will have to be made, especially in the secondary.

Offense: EASILY the best part of the team and the best in the NFL in my opinion. Stafford, Kyren, Puka, Davante, Parkinson, etc. all balled out. Stafford should get the MVP award as he played his best ball in his entire career. Nothing negative here.

Feels like the weather conditions and the noisy stadium played a big factor into our 1st half struggles.
Adjustments during the half should hopefully help with that. The offense needs to work around the Bears scheme, while the defense needs to be more consistent.
