And while I'm in limbo, I'm working on my own game. Nothing to show yet, but I do like me some roguelikes so I'm poking at making one in Godot. It's been a while since I've done coding, so I'm shaking a lot of rust off, but I've forgotten how fun it is to get my hands dirty.

So, if anyone needs help getting a game project on track, or wants my expertise in getting a game from vague idea to actionable with design stuff everywhere, let me know, as I'm lookin' for work.

Considering the GDD is for a VR cooperative arena roguelike, I'd like to think I did pretty well with it. The people left have a good direction, and since I personally hired some of them, including the person filling my shoes, I know that the design'll be good.

Just realized, like... I haven't been too talkative over here.

So, I got laid off a few weeks ago. Apparently I made too much. In my time there I took an idea with no real direction and helped put out two demos, and then GDD'd a whole game, got everyone on board, and got it moving in a direction.

I could not stop laughing, and then I looked up how your workshop stuff worked 'cuz I got Inspired <tm>. When I need a break from working on my own stuff, ima see about adding something into your stuff. :D

Way back in the mid 2000s, I would hang out with the customer service reps for an MMO. One person had an issue with a quest, and the CSR pointed out in the quest text what they missed.
