After that, he will have 4-6 weeks of IV antibiotics at home.
It has been a very emotional and stressful 5 days. But I’m thankful they caught the infection and he is responding well to antibiotics

Hopefully he comes home tomorrow, if the hospital can get his last test scheduled for today. If not, he’ll stay through the weekend and get scheduled for Monday, then maybe come home Tuesday if his scans and tests look good

Woof, this has been a rough week. Partner was admitted on Wednesday evening because his blood cultures came back positive. He is being treated for a blood infection now, and need many tests to make sure his heart isn’t infected
