Part of the problem is a combo user error and this hardware. It's old! There's one USB 3.0 port, and two USB 1.1 ports. Since one processes waaaay more data than the other, I have to start one feed manually while only one dongle is plugged in to the USB 3.0, then start the slow feed on the other one
equipment has been overheating since yesterday. taking everything offline for a little bit while working out this problem.
Oberlin was in the movie Eurotrip, so for about five minutes in 2004, like three or four stoners heard of it
Who knows if this is true, but if it is the institutional configuration of the Mayor's Court and Ohio's strategic position between the densely populated Northeast and Midwest may go a long way in explaining its world-historic speeding ticket rates
ordering new hardware for bringing Summit County back online, and adding another analog station (KDO94 weather radio station in Akron). Will also be adding ADS-B to one of the sites after a survey is completed.
Parts of Portage County are being reported as white-out conditions by the sheriff's deputies.
Forgot to mention that directory listing is working again! Currently listed in the "Xiph yellow pages" directory. dir.xiph.org/search?q=sum... (Xiph are the makers of Icecast2)
Having some trouble getting #icecast2 streams listed in the #Xiph YP directory. This *used* to work. Not sure what changed in the config file, if anything.
INFO yp/yp_recheck_config Adding new YP server "http://dir.xiph.org/cgi-bin/yp-cgi" (timeout 6s, default interval 30s)
Made some updates to the website.
Back online.
Major upgrade today. Sorry, feeds will be down for all sites and channels. Even though I don't fully trust them, commercial services are still proving feeds (Scanner Radio, Scanner Buddy, RadioReference, Broadcastify, etc.)
Current issues (2):
❶Summit County equipment offline. Fix due date: TBD.
❷Stress testing. End date: 01JAN2024
