Has to be parody? Surely no real people can be this embarrassing?

They allowed this "labour" government. They allowed Blair's. They have their clear parameters and it never involves anything but blue labour, tories and reform.

Often the way with the most famous ones, as they're primarily media personalities.

Read new age of sexism and will try to read all these.

Wish I convince more to read them. But I see so many men who don't read anything by women. People who don't consider themselves sexist...but every book, podcast, film, TV show, comedian etc they consume is exclusively male or led by men.

Because too many companies, governments and investors have bet everything on it succeeding massively.

What's the joke? Because there's no punchline besides the standard baseless smear against someone who dared to criticise the Israeli government.

Just one last time I'd like to thank Brian Ferry and David Walliams for that special night with #Prince.

It's always trade-offs that benefit the rich, and never minor trade-offs. It's accepting corruption, bigotry, inequality and colonialism dressed up as "well you have to grow up and accept it can't be perfect."

My salary has gone up. But in real terms it's gone down. Way down.

I hate that anyone is debating that living standards have fallen as if it's subjective. Wage growth has been eclipsed by housing costs and inflation for decades.

I mean that's better than most. But this sums it up. It doesn't include rent/mortgage cost increases. And that's the biggest cost for 99% of people.

Rents have gone up 50-60% here in the last 5 years. And in the last 20 or so they've gone from averaging 20-30% of pay to 50%+.

Whenever we see reports of "wage growth above inflation" it's total propaganda. It only ever refers to CPI, which is a far lower figure, doesn't include rent/mortgage and doesn't reflect living costs.

And it's always a snapshot. Wages grow above CPI for a month or quarter (but decline 20 years).

This isn't an anecdotal topic. It's data. Housing costs have risen crazy amounts in the last 20 years. Bills have surged. Food & drink and transport costs surged.

All that has eclipsed wage growth so living standards have fallen substantially for the majority of people.

How is duffield allowed to be an MP with stuff this toxic?

And how funny is it their version of being a special agent is...buying a ticket to something.

Fucking hell. There's no way to progress when so many bellends are constantly horny for war and happy to spend any amount on it, however stupid and illegal. Just the absolute worst people.

Yes. If linkedin was all people who weren't focused on corporate bullshit and faux inspirational hustle stories and trips to Dubai. So kind of not linkedin at all.

Because too many countries support American colonialism and profiteering from war. They're also happy to turn a blind eye to things many of them seem trivial, such as sex trafficking, rape and murder.

The actual salary range for my job has barely changed since 2008. In real terms I earn less than half what it would have been then. Same qualifications, experience and ability. But whereas I'd have been comfortable then, I'm screwed now.

Yet another example of transphobia rotting the brain. It always goes beyond that to generally terrible takes.

The laziest and most generic comedians I've seen are all men.

Just make it Labour attacks Greens. Then tally up how many speeches and articles are that, rather than Labour attacking Reform.

Imagine if your main ways to get the women (girls/children) you wanted were sex trafficking and data centres.

We'll get more and more billionaires in music and acting and sports. Not because they're better or more successful than previous generations.

But because money makes too much money now. The systems in place ensure their wealth will make more money than their talent.

I don't think it's possible to think this and fully grasp just how much a billion is, how unnecessary it is, and the level of corruption and exploitation of people and resources needed to get it.

Except they dominate the party and they're in government. They are also far more right wing than they have been in the past.

And context matters. It isn't the 90s or 00s. Whether it's income inequality, living standards or climate change, it's about the politics required NOW, not years ago.

You mean the people calling out Blair & protesting war crimes very publicly? Or those demanding to drag the party back from neoliberalists? Or those that spent years fighting attack from the labour right? And those who warned about Starmer before his leadership?

You're right tho. You don't get it

Obviously they very much do. But it is generally easier not to if you have no standards of morality and fundamental human rights.

Like it's supposed to be a satire of horror films. There's enough material there to be funny and relevant.

What exactly is it they think they can't say that they want to say?

So making a lazy comedy aimed at cunts then? Rather than actually trying to write something good.
