Today is the last day NBA teams can make changes to their roster.

As of now, the Warriors' 15-man postseason roster is set:

G: Curry, Curry, Melton, Podziemski, Spencer
F: Santos, Payton II, Richard, Butler, Moody
C: Green, Porziņģis, Horford, Post, Bassey

He's definitely intriguing, but they have team control on him through next season. Easier to continue developing him on that two-way.

Nate Williams seems like the likeliest candidate. He has 2 games remaining on his Two-Way deal.

Depending on available players, they might wait until the last day of the season to convert him, as they've done the previous two seasons (24/25: Braxton Key, 23/24: Usman Garuba).

Ömer Yurtseven's 2nd 10-Day expired yesterday. He would need to be signed for the rest of the season to remain with the Warriors.

The Warriors will need to sign a 15th player by the end of 4/12 to have a full roster for the play-in.

Full circle moment for newly signed Santa Cruz Warrior, Nana Appiah, who was a practice player for Golden State in 2023-24.

Once midway through a workout Steph Curry came up to introduce himself.

“I’ve been watching Steph my whole life he doesn’t need to introduce himself.”

Jordan Hall has been such a great addition for the Sea Dubs, especially coming so late in the season.
,
They've sorely needed some playmaking and he's dished out 6 assists at the half already.

He plays with such an infectious energy. Always has a smile on his face.

What a half from Ja’Vier Francis who has 7pts, 7rbs, 6blks(!), +15 in 13 minutes.

He’s been a force, matched up with two string centers in Moussa Cisse and Jamarion Sharp.

His block timing is some of the best I’ve seen at this level.

SCW HC Lainn Wilson on how Gui Santos has become a blueprint for their G League development.

“There’s no way to guarantee a guy an opportunity. It’s ultimately on the player to go in the and do what he’s been trained to do and Gui’s been doing that since the very beginning.”

Will Richard will become only the third Warriors rostered draft pick since 2013 to not play a single game for Santa Cruz during their rookie season.

Wilson likened him to Gui Santos, as players who always play hard.

“Those guys are hard to find, especially rookie year.”

As a result, the Warriors' roster cost will decrease by $3.6M for the season.

They currently sit at $273M, including a $68M tax bill.

With $2.7M below the 2nd Apron hard-cap, the Warriors will likely sign a 15th roster spot before the end of the season (probably a 1+1 deal).

Moses Moody, due to suffering a season-ending injury, will unfortunately miss out on his $426k incentives for the 25/26 season.

Moody was on pace to hit all three criteria requirements (MP, 3PA/100, TS%) and was only short of 60 minutes played.

Santa Cruz down 105-79 to South Bay at the end of the 3rd quarter.

An ugly game has got even uglier as SCW has been unable to find anything offensively or shore up their defense.

Energy in the arena is as flat as I’ve heard it all season.

Charles Bassey already with 21pts, 10rbs on 9/11 FG at the half for the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Problem is they’re down 16 points to the South Bay Lakers after a half punctuated by 12 turnovers and an inability to defend without fouling.

Asked SBL HC Zach Guthrie about coaching Pat Spencer in the 2022 Summer League:

“I love to coach dudes who love to play. Love to compete. And are all about the little things.…but it’s that fire, that drive, the ferocity of competitiveness that really separates Pat.”

Asked SCW HC Lainn Wilson how he has seen his staff develop as coaches over the course of the season:

“I think the hardest thing when you’re an assistant in those roles is trying to find your voice…..when you’re starting out it’s easier to do all the behind the scenes stuff.”

Lainn Wilson on how the Warriors have become a premier developmental spot in the G League:

“It takes organizational alignment…Our front office in Golden State has done a really good job of identifying talent…and you have a coach like Kerr who’s willing to play those guys.”

Asked Santa Cruz HC Lainn Wilson on how he felt seeing an All-SCW alum lineup on the floor for Golden State last night.

“Sometimes players can mess around, or may not be as engaged, but all those guys when their number’s been called, they’ve been ready to go from the jump.”

While LJ Cryer has yet to see significant NBA minutes, he’s been dominant in the G League.

21.7ppg, 6.1apg, 3.8rpg on .467/.449/.892 (2.5 AST/TO and 10.3 3PA)

His shooting has translated flawlessly and he’s made significant strides as an on-ball creator over the season.

Here’s a look at Charles Bassey’s pregame 3-point shooting warmup.

He’s taking 2.14 attempts per game (the most in his career) good for 33% this season for Santa Cruz, as the staff has encouraged him to let it fly, especially above the break, when opposing centers sag off him.
