I’ve heard of the pizza program for completing books, but I’m more thinking about over the summer. I did it for multiple years during elementary and high school.
Alternatively we were assigned one book to read that would be the first assignment in the following years English class.

Did any of my American friends have summer reading lists growing up? Like a number of books you had to read from a list and then do a book report on when the new school year started?

All they could tell me was to go home and do a hot compress. It went down in size over the next few days. But what a strange way to end 2024!

On the 30th of December my jaw started to hurt, and soon a bump started to form on my jaw.
Overnight it swelled in size, at 5am I went to the ER. I got seen at 11am, and it was assumed I had an abscess. 6 hours later we learned it wasn’t. And I got sent home with antibiotics 😅
