Prison escapes make me think this something from the 1970s.

One side effect of hardening myself against social media's performative misanthropy is that I no longer have patience for films/books/tv that operate from a cynical standpoint and act like humanity isn't worth saving. That's not cool or edgy anymore, all I see is the author's untreated depression.
this is the sickest shit ive ever seen
So what is going on? Did someone die or something?
Bob Vylan @ Coachella 2025 with a Palestinian flag displayed.
Bob Vylan's Coachella set was fucking great, though their Glastonbury set may overshadow it a bit.
As NYPD officials boasted of the resources expended finding the killer of a corporate CEO, another sidewalk murder the same week, of a migrant teen, has not received the same treatment. hellgatenyc.com/two-manhatta...
That is this guy, he popped up on my YouTube shorts feed awhile back, but he started on TikTok. He's now doing a food truck as well as building out a piece of land in Arizona.

Oh, so that's how that obsession started.
I was already excited to click on a news story about Rudy Giuliani having a meltdown in court today and YELLING at the judge. But nothing prepared me for the courtroom sketch
It's fun to think about how my entire conception of the world is a hallucination built up from sensory neurotransmissions and then be disappointed with myself that this is what it came up with
Good. It’s horrific how other platforms abused their reach to strangle local, independent, and national outlets alike.
I WANT to see news and actual vetted work and I WANT journalists to get rewarded for it.
Because I want to live in a thinking human world over some AI generated slop dystopia
prayers up homie 👏

Drake has initiated legal action against Universal Music Group and Spotify over allegations that the two companies conspired to artificially inflate the popularity of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” In a filing Monday (Nov. 25) in Manhattan court, Drake’s Frozen Moments LLC accused UMG of launching an illegal “scheme” involving bots, payola and other methods to pump up Lamar’s song — a track that savagely attacked Drake amid an ongoing feud between the two stars.
Drake’s attorneys accuse UMG of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, the federal “RICO” statute often used in criminal cases against organized crime. They also allege deceptive business practices and false advertising under New York state law. The court filings are a remarkable twist in the high-profile beef between the two stars, which saw Drake and Kendrick exchange stinging diss tracks over a period of months earlier this year. That such a dispute would spill into business litigation seemed almost unthinkable in the world of hip-hop.

The George Washington sketch from SNL but Nate Bargatze's Washington is replaced by Kendrick Lamar.
"Over the summer, we will release a series of singles that will be the biggest hits I have ever recorded, to lead up to the new album release.
"Of course. So that fans can have all those hit singles in one place."
"None of those songs will be on the album."
Loving this Kendrick album, and I'm with the people thinking this is just the first course. The simultaneous snippet & album releases are for two different albums just like MMATBS but actually released separately at first. We'll end up with a "GNX and ???" combined vinyl release early next year.

This is an echo of the general election. The trans Democrat is blamed for "sparking" the crisis despite the fact she did nothing beyond be herself.
Before she arrived to DC, or made any demands, the GOP preemptively turned her identity into a political issue.
So, who is doing identity politics?
Totally this. And also institutions that take journalist coverage as evidence of impact. Terrible equilibrium.
Name a TV show you're positive no one remembers but you.
Not at all.
More than a few high ranking officials in the incoming administration will have considerable history of drug use and addiction. There is SO MUCH that makes them unqualified and unethical, so let’s leave their addiction and drug use out of our slander.
End the stigma.
