It is. Most of us in the Netherlands grew up with the park and keep passing it on. And while not cheap. It is way more affordable than most other theme parks and way less commercial in many aspects. I don't feel like a walking wallet in Efteling. While in some other parks I do. 🙃

I think most people in the Netherlands are Efteling adults. Without the hyper commercial american toxic Disney parts. 💅

Letting that go has been an intense process the last few months. I'm gonna miss it for sure. But I'm also super excited for the future. Next week I will start at my new job. It's time for a new chapter.

Working towards an LGBTI inclusive school environment is still controversial in many places around the world. Including in my own country. The last few years it seems we took steps back, but only time will tell if that's truly the case.

Sitting here realizing that tomorrow is my last day at çavaria. For 15 years it was a huge part of my life. Being an LGBTI activist in the field of education became part of my identity.
