Absolutely bonkers numbers for my YouTube shorts! I’m halfway to the monetization goal of 10m views per 90 days. The way they count views is really conservative, so I might not hit it. But it would be awesome to have a little revenue stream from my awareness content about my life with vision loss!

This has personally been one of the craziest social media months of my life with how my YouTube channel has garnered attention. I applied for a “partnership” after hitting the 3m shorts views in 90 days prerequisite, so I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Cataract surgery complete! Near-focus lens installed after 30mins under and I’m already observing positive results! Lots of eyedrops and taking it easy to come. Then in a few months they can laser what remains of the cataract. Later we can schedule fixing my dominant eye!

I accomplished ripping out the grass for a nice walking path to our backyard! Shoveling it up with a hand trowel these last four hot days was a good workout! Now I’m waiting on 1.5 cubic feet of topsoil to even it all out. And then?? Back to exorcising the never ending dandelion menace!

That’s awesome! And a great idea to pick a topic you have always wanted to know more about. I can read articles and watch videos, but books give me information that sticks to my brain that I’ll use forever.

I’d rather have that screen over the headache inducing mess of iRacing’s layout.
