There are few better feelings as a GM than a Player, days after a session, asking for an aside to pose a Lore question and them opening it up with "Have I lost it? Or is this right?" and they proceed to be entirely correct about the theory.

This is fun. The more ways there are to slay dragons, the better. Or befriend/seduce them depending on who you ask. However you choose to hit the dragon, there are options.

Bad games are the best games because they create game designers. If 5e were perfect, there would be only one game. Instead, 5e sucks so there are 10,000 tiny indie games that suck less and that’s beautiful

There should be a game jam for games with rules written in the most diegetic ways possible.

I'm talking resolution mechanics as prophecies.

Rules for death as in-game cultural traditions.

Combat mechanics as snippets of kingdom army training manuals.
