An absolutely gruelling but exhilarating race number 4 in the Kent Fitness League cross country season today. Mud in places you just don’t want to know but some stunning views along the way…and didn’t break any bones!
I try to be positive about running but it was a gruelling run today! Blowing an absolute gale, rain, hail, the lot! But 10 miles in the bag and 91 days to go until London!

An icy but beautiful 10 miles in the bag today & enjoyed being the run leader for a Sunday club run. Marathon training is officially on!

Felt like the first proper run of winter this morning, as opposed to the wet, muddy mood of the last few weeks.
Went to see #Wicked last night and it is everything we hoped for and more!
The vocals, the sets, the performances are outstanding.
However, I did also see this rather epic drag version earlier this year & I have to say without the Hollywood budget, these queens were exceptional!
Very proud of the green machine today. It was cross country race 2 of the season & the hardest race I’ve ever run at Oxleas. Caught my foot with 500m to go so now feeling sorry for myself & wafting of deep heat!
