Unhappy to report the phishing one is quickly becoming a real problem now. Why go to the trouble of social engineering when people will just give up their ID, financial info, biometrics, etc. to an AV portal? There's no standards so how can you differentiate a fake one from a real one?

NWS Spirit have announced that former Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers coach Dan Barrett will take the reigns at the club for the remainder of the #NPLWNSW season, starting with Wednesday's #SapphireCup game against Central Coast Mariners.

A lot of the transfers (with fees attached) out of the league recently are to NWSL sides in pre-season. If you're an NWSL side in the middle of your campaign, are you looking to the Dub or to Europe for reinforcements? Probably the latter, which takes a lot of incoming money out of the league.

I've got way more thoughts than can comfortably fit on Bluesky about this, nor should the #NWSL care about the impact of this move on other competitions, but the damage this move could have on the A-League Women (which has its own problems) is massive, and the APL need to move fast to counteract it

Chinaza Uchendu opted to refer the matter to the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee. She has had her four-game ban reduced to three games. This will still rule her out of the #ALW semi-finals, but she is now available for the Grand Final should City qualify.
