Growing up is becoming a bird lady, apparently.

As somebody used to graphite and charcoal, working with acrylic paint and learning: technique, color theory, application. It has been difficult and rewarding! A fun challenge definitely

Some white people are treating the Epstein files like it’s the newest reality tv drama of the week and not a huge government coverup of a major sex trafficking ring involving people from celebrity to politics.

This is not entertainment and you shouldn’t be kiking about these events.

I finally feel like I’m making progress with acrylic as a medium, a few more practice portraits and I think I’ll transfer to canvas to finish the big piece I started #acrylic #painting #artist

I’ve been leaning really heavy into traditional art after forcing myself to keep a daily sketchbook for two years - practice really does make a difference

I can’t imagine having a parent actively push you into addiction instead of my experience where they disappear anytime they relapse so you don’t see them like that.

For whatever reason I fell down a sid and Nancy rabbit hole (I had a vague idea about them being in music) and WOW reading Sid vicious’ life story and his struggle with addiction and his mother being his supplier who was also an addict :/ addiction is so scary to experience first hand

Haven’t been on here in a while but I’ve still been drawing in my sketchbook. I actually got a decent sized sketchbook with the binding I like for me to carry around and doodle in :)

Oh to be a small cat with an overly loving owner unburdened with the weights of this world
