Honestly I don't really get the Lilliana hate that much I think her pov chapters dragged a bit (and I hate her original design but that's a seperate thing) but I didn't see anything catastrophically wrong with her as a character

Read Re:Zero LN volume 21 a lil bit ago was a really good start. Idk if it's a hot take but the LN really cuts down on a lot of the meandering that tends to be present in the WN which is nice. Gotta get my hands on the next volume

But that's exactly my point - Zaun wasn't destroying itself, it was being oppressed by the rich upper class of Piltover, and even if you wanna say Hextech exacerbated it that doesn't explain how things got better for Zaun because in this timeline they seemingly didn't stand up to them.

Tldr I don't like the soft implication that if there was no hextech and the Zaunites just accepted being oppressed for a few more years like good little second class citizens, everything would have turned out fine. Ik it's not what they were going for but it still rubs me the wrong way.

Episode 7 is an incredible standalone episode but I truly believe that both narratively and thematically Arcane season 2 kinda peaked with episode 4 (or at least after that it spiralled out of control, there were warning signs before like maybe)

Watched Arcane s2 and was severely disappointed tbh. Still a good show but very much fails to meet the expectations set by the first season. In the plus side I noticed Dandadan is on Netflix so I'm gonna give that another go

I bought the first volume of ln arc 6 when Season 3 was teased thinking they would only adapt arc 5 💀. Gonna have to look up the differences at some point but as far as I can tell the only plot relevant one really is they did the Scarf reveal way later in the LN?

Finished Arc 5 WN and it was amazing, really looking forward to the 2nd Cour. That being said, I kind of wish I just spent the money on the LN volume because I'm going to be reading it from here and I feel like I'm gonna be SO confused about the differences
