Lower the volume to a whisper when you listen to ‘Rites,’ the second of two pieces that traverse the 362,880 possible colorations of a single Sudoku solution, whose 9 x 9 digits provide the patterns for four contrapuntal rhythmic ‘voices,’ sung by the droplet-like ticking sounds of four triangles.
