I think there are so many factors contributing to the NDIS being implemented in ways that have caused budget issues. Just as there will be many different responses to alleviate the projected growth. There is no singular boogeyman…

I replay the scene where Rhonda (Rachel Griffiths) waves from the taxi and says “Goodbye shopping centre” often as it’s my local shopping centre. (Helpful pop culture reference when you’re explaining to anyone where you live 😂)

Sometimes just your existence is threatening. You don’t have to be threatening. If you know who you are and are confident in yourself that’s enough-

So you manage your own plan, but rely on a provider to hire and provide support workers- is that right? (Confused)

Do you hire your own staff, get invoiced and pay them after the NDIS pays you? If you have a provider and a plan manager who processes your billing it’s not self managed.

That’s not correct Lisa- the maximum standard rate per hour is $70.23- complex medical needs rate is higher - our last provider charged the NDIS this rate- the worker only $35- the rest churned up in admin- Cal was losing a third of her budget to bullshit- self managed I pay $65 an hour for quality

So many movies we walked out of after my daughter lost her Dad at 7 years old. Happy Feet 2 was the worst- took weeks for her to recover 😞

The FBI guy is on a paranoid bender and won’t leave his room.

The War guy quotes bible passages from Pulp Fiction.

The Health guy collects raccoon dicks.

It’s an Idiocracy on steroids.

Big shoutout thank you to those that purchased one or more of Matt’s original art steel wool sheep. I hope you love having them in your homes. I have more available if anyone else would like one- or a lil family- it’s all to help me pay off this legal bill for Cal’s inheritance from Matt’s mum-

It’s hard- saying goodbye to yesterday you when you let go of yesterday’s stuff. I don’t need to keep the Minidisc recorder- definitely need to transfer audio from the discs to my computer first though- that’s the next step 🧐

When I got it going I was so excited- heard Matt in my head saying ‘never sell your tools’ so now I’m conflicted about listing it 🤦‍♀️

Oh you in deep! I came upon the MZ-NH1 we bought back in 2004- Got the charging dock, the remote, the condenser and stereo mics- just missing the usb cable- the sound quality is incredible- they were quick to enshittify the sound quality first weren’t they?

Of course it is 😂 - I’ve fallen into the Sony minidisc recorder forums on reddit- the network of enthusiasts is astonishing 🧐

My Nanna used to say “Not on your Nelly!” Wigwam for a goose’s bridle was always a retort to being nosy too. Leftover were ‘rarer than hens teeth’ given there were six kids 🤷‍♀️
