had help from @tedmartens.bsky.social with manual anti-aliasing and love how multifunctional it is, it softens corners, tapers lines and can double as a shadow.

I’ve pixeled a bit in the past for a jam game and logos, and I’ve done a lot of iconography, which makes it feel familiar. I like having the limitations, and learning more about the style :)
Been tinkering around with pixelart in asesprite. It’s nice to make characters in a clean and minimal program. I try to start small (16-24px), but end up going twice as big so I can have a little more details and come closer to my (curvy) style and shapes.

Really enjoying The Blank Menu for You, a Korean talk show where guests place open-ended orders that chef Choi Kang Rok interprets into custom dishes. It’s very calming and slow, with cute awkward jokes and endearing stories revolving around memories of food.
