Why can‘t we all just play music together all the time honestly, the world would be a much better place
If you are not using retro.app, you may be missing out on a very beautiful future of what social media should be.
Whether you draw, or paint, or compose, or mix - whatever form of art you choose to create, make it exist. Bring it to life. Create it in a tangible form that can be enjoyed.
It need not be perfect. It might need work. It might serve as practice. It might even remain unfinished.
Just create. 😁
May I suggest quitting streaming entirely? 🙂 you can just buy whatever music you want in the original version and slowly build your own censor-free library. I’ve been doing this for a year now and I would never go back.
For unknown reasons I can't get this out of my head today.

Why people are still using Spotify in 2025 (into 2026) is beyond me. Sure it’s convenient… as convenient and readily available as dog shit from the street, I’d say.
ah yes. It has a certain “je ne sais quoi” 👌
Almost there. We got this.
Anyway stop using spotify and become a Bandcamp weirdo
Tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday and they waive all fees so 100% of what you pay goes to the artists
Here’s my Spotify Wrapped 🎵✨
“An old white privileged men verbally scolds other old white privileged men, but only mildly”
a Verge headline: The algorithm failed music Illustration: A colorful waveform starts to pixelate
The goal of Spotify’s algorithm isn’t to help you discover new music, its goal is simply to keep you listening for as long as possible. It serves up the safest songs possible to keep you from pressing stop.

Not to nitpick but like, if Halloween comes from a contraction of "All hollows eve", Hallow-e'en, then it should be called Jesuseen—which definitely rolls better.
This is the kind of breaking news I need right now
not trying to be obnoxious or anything, all I'm saying is that people may not be achieving what they want by simply ditching Google services but keep using Android.
Yeah no, I kno. You could not use any Google service, but Android is still developed by Google—I mean Android as the OS—which is done behind closed doors. So Google still befits from u using Android and could still be used to gather and sell ur data just by using your Android operated phone.
Wait, isn't Android also Google? I think—haven't verified this myself—that Google's spywares are deeply interwoven with Android. Sadly, I don't see any alternatives to a phone OS, HarmonyOS maybe? but that's essentially Huawei… so 🤷
If by "explorer" you mean person who scammed money out of the Spanish crown to go about looking for places to pillage, then yeah, I guess.
yeah… no thank you.
If you MUST use a streaming service, from what I’ve seen, Tidal is at least a bit better for artists and consumers. But you can also still buy music from any artist from iTunes—yeah I know what Tim Apple did, but hey, the lesser of evils.
bandcamp is pretty goated. just putting that out there.
Since I canceled #Spotify, I’ve been using the subscription’s money to purchase 1-2 albums a month. This month’s pick is #queensofthestoneage Villains. Get in my ears right now! #supportArtists
NICE! I hope more and more people and artists start doing this
A grid of digital album covers
Since I canceled my Spotify subscription, I've been purchasing music with that same budget—so 1-2 albums a month— #PhysicalMedia or digital. I have a long list, but this month I think I'll get the new #BrightEyes album.
#SupportArtists and #BuyMusic on #Bandcamp maybe.
