Here's something I promised to show you… GPU grass that is actually fast and usable! It can be dynamically scattered over any mesh in your scene, can be bent by people's avatars or props, and it even works on Quest and mobile just fine. Still WIP, but you can check this world:

The broken V76 update released about a month ago, if you don't have automatic updates/didn't turn headset off it's possible that it updated after you came back 🤔

When does the issues happen? For me most consistently it starts to break after I open SteamVR while under more intense load.
Also on what software version you are?
Another thing, meta no longer produces the headset so even on warranty you would be out of luck
