T is OK for cis women but not trans men.
Puberty blockers are OK for cis kids but illegal for trans kids.
You see it, right? You see what this is?

Your regular reminder that cops don't actually justify their existence or enormous budgets by solving much crime.
Approximately 11% of all serious crimes result in an arrest, and about 2% end in a conviction.
And then there's this...
An article in the Times today by Kathleen Stock in which she claims, incorrectly, that ‘when the gay rights cause first got going, the ideal was toleration’.
To correct the record:
The gay rights movement I was a part of in the 1980s and 90s was not aiming for ‘toleration’.
Mere acceptance was not enough.
How would that help the isolated queer kid?
No. We wanted that child to know they would be loved and celebrated just as they were.
Please, for the love of Christ, let Dan and Jordan from @knowledgefight.bsky.social host the official Info Wars podcast.
I'm not asking much. Just give them a paycheck, let them use the name, and let good people giggle as they take over.
She was also foul-mouthed and crotchety. I try to do right by her memory.
Honey, Opal was my great-grandmother's name.
I'm doing my fukken part.
Gay surrogacy and gay adoption are predicated on the idea that gay men (or women) have a “right” to become parents. This idea is not only morally insane but also logically incoherent. It’s exactly like jumping off a building and claiming that you have the right to fly. Nobody has the right to defy the laws of nature. Where would such a right even originate? Two men cannot be parents. It’s impossible. Doesn’t matter how they feel or what they want. It cannot be. The only “right” at issue here is the right of the child. And the child has a right to be raised by a mother and a father, not two men masquerading as mother and father.
Great work to all the transphobic pickme gays because you're next on the menu
To be clear, I think that 37% is unlikely ever to change its mind.
There is a core portion of the populace who would kill their children in the streets to prove their fealty to Trump. And one out of three is about where I put that proportion of Americans.
A VCR never sold my private info to a nazi
Gov. Bill Lee signed a resolution defining family as a man, a woman, and their children, a move critics say targets LGBTQ+ households.
I am a gay dad and this is FUCKED UP
The year is 2029. Donald Trump is still President but has not been seen for over 2 years. I am going home after the Secret Police tell me I don’t need a tranny star because I’m clocky as a watch shop, softly crying because I thought of a great post about it but they don’t let trannies online anymore
We live in a country where the two most dynamic, charismatic, eloquent politicians of this century have the first names Barack and Zohran. This is what bothers the white supremacists so much.
Well, I guess my wife and I emigrated.
We sure as fuck won't miss YOU, Donnie.
Pete Hegseth-- the Biblical, upstanding Christian-- attributed a quote derived from a foot-fetishist who writes ultra-violent movies and defends child rapist Roman Polanski.
You'd think he'd know his Bible better.
Anyway, there are the quotes, all in one place, and my peanut gallery opinion.
What did he say, directly before quoting the CSAR schtick?
"They call it CSAR 25:17, which I think is meant to reflect Ezekiel 25:17."
If Pete Hegseth knew that the quote came from Pulp Fiction and not the Bible, he could have said it was from Pulp Fiction.
But he thought it WAS from the Bible.
But it clearly derives from the movie quote, not the actual Bible. Which isn't a problem, per se. It's okay to be a quote from a movie. It's okay even to jokingly name it CSAR 25:17 after the movie.
But Pete Hegseth is pompously Christian. He believes that his Christianity makes the country HIS.
This sounds like a pretty standard military meme-- we're badass, we are a force that rains down fury and brimstone like the God of the Old Testament, etc.
I used to work with JTACs; this is the sort of shit commanders say to get them all hard and gun-horny before they go on field exercises.
"...for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to capture and destroy my brother. And you will know my call sign is Sandy One when I lay my vengeance upon thee, and amen."
Now let's look at Pete Hegseth's version:
"The path of the downed aviator is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men, Blessed is he who, in the name of camaraderie and duty, shepherd the lost through the valley of darkness..."
"...for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
Definitely not the same.
Now let's look at Samuel L. Jackson's "verse" from Pulp Fiction:
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and goodwill, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness..."
The chapter in question and the preceding verses deal with Moab, Edom, the Ammonites, and the House of Judah. God saying his worshippers are the good guys, aop others are bad guys, and He will smite the bad guys.
Basic Old Testament theopolitics.
Ezekiel 25:17 (KJV, which I think was the target aesthetic in the movie):
"And I will excute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them."
If we're going to talk about it, there are three quotes to consider: the Bible, Pete Hegseth, and Pulp Fiction. Let's put them all in the same thread:
I desperately want to make some good-natured jokes about transpilers and binaries being out of date, but I'm honestly fucking excited to see full-time dev resources going into the project.
I don’t know why it took me until late April 2026 to realize this, but climate change is basically a rising tide lifting the boats but not the coastal cities where hundreds of millions of people live

This season of Invincible has been such a fantastic rumination on how fascism thrives not only on the concept of might makes right, but on how that ideology erases the need for accountability and growth. If you are stronger, you are always right, no need to be accountable. Its why Nolan's arc (1/2)
