I originally signed up when they were still doing invite only, but I never got an invite until long after threads launched. By that point, I didn't care that much lol.

I tried posting a video and it says it can only be 60 seconds or less. Do you have the video upload icon between the upload photos button and camera button?

I think they just added the feature to post videos. I don't know what the limitations are to that though.

I really don't have the patience to teach another app what I want to see. It took a few months for me to get the threads algorithm to figure out what I want to see.

I agree with you completely. It also could just be us not using the app enough. When I first joined threads, I hated it because the content it showed me was completely underlated to my interests. Once I blocked a bunch of corporate and influencer accounts, the algorithm got better.

My main problem with the app is the algorithm. I don't like all of the different feeds. There should be one feed with a mix of posts from random people you may like and people you follow. It doesn't need to be complicated. The content that the app recommends isn't even that tailored to me anyways.

I'll definitely use this app more if I get kicked from threads. Until then, I just post enough to keep my account from getting deleted.
