If disagreeing with Mahmood's policies is sufficient, I'm for one am looking forward to my newly-discovered white privilege

I'm afraid they didn't cover that in mandatory training
Yeah, I had to watch a video which I studiously paid attention to it as it informed me that not all terrorists are brown people as though I had never heard of the IRA.
(In fairness, a lot of them now do just have a quiz.)
This is how it's generally slightly adapted for healthcare education, anyway.
Mandatory training fails on all 4 levels. Having also done much mandatory training today, I keep meaning to do a word count of all the stuff you're supposed to read during it.
Utterly baffled by the terrorism ones.
The absence of evidence is astounding (albeit true for myriad medical educational interventions). Whilst I'm a big fan Mayer's Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, for me the most relevant model is Kirkpartrick:
Level 1: Liked it
L2: Learned
L3: Changed behaviour
L4: Impact on patients
Suppose that's one way to achieve a negative balance
Starmer (allegedly) wanted this guy to be ambassador.
Starmer's has a grasp on politics one might expect from somebody who has never seen or read the news.
Oh, you can see wiggling in the neck. I think the cardiologist was making it up which waves it was.
My #MedSky conspiracy theory is that nobody has ever seen a JVP waveform on examination.
*looks at clearly lit, well-maintained road*
*looks at road made of fire and knives*
*starts down road made of fire and knives*
Starmer going anywhere, presumably
I wonder if it's also that local party data from canvassing paints the picture so starkly (along with the other stuff you mention). The bad omens will, I suspect, already be in data they already have - hits different when that data is proven to be categorically true.
You know, I really don't think anybody in government uses the words "strength", "stability" and "chaos" the way everybody else uses those words.

Itโs finally happened. After 18 months. Finally, a media merger you can root for.
Starmer can become Mandelson's US ambassador. It's the circle of life.
Just checking all the journos mentions to see if the Starmerites are out in force trying to defend their man today. Weirdly not as mouthy as usual.
A wonderful trip down memory lane with @pboyle.bsky.social into Facebook's attempt to monetise Second Life minus legs with goggles

Apparently my opinion of "check the vetting before appointing somebody to public office" because it's sensible is not dissimilar to the Cabinet Office's "do some vetting before appointing somebody to public office"
"Least unpopular" would arguably more accurate but fair play.
And you might hit one of the cable ties, unravelling every important anatomical structure in the neck, seemingly.
I get the bus back
Sort of feel like sitting in an airport with a drink is just part of the experience
Don't know if this true for most but I fly once a year for a holiday and have flown once for work. I'm not *that* familiar with the process and there are no airports I'm sufficiently familiar with that I am confident of where to go. Sitting in an airport is absolutely fine by me.
So really delivery = takeaway^3
Also, if you get rid of your books, you can make space for more books, help somebody else read the book more cheaply and raise money for charity. And if you do buy the book again, that is helping the author.
If you want to adorn your walls, buy art.
Yeah, everybody I know thinks I'm a weirdo but I'm deeply unsentimental about physical media.
