Tbf, the Artemis crew had issues with Outlook. Microsoft disappoints us all equally.

Honestly, the Artemis II crew had the right idea when they flew further away from Earth than any humans ever.

Author Steven Vickers wrote on Threads, "To confirm, this '100% AI generated' passage is the opening of Chapter 5 from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. I think authors are going to get screwed in these AI witch hunts."

I agree 100% with Steven Vickers that authors will be falsely accused of using AI in the coming years. In particular, authors like myself whose works were stolen to train AI systems are at risk. When we write in our own unique styles, AI trained on us will quite likely flag us as using AI.

Google is now screwing with the 10 blue links in traditional search and rewriting headlines - including ours - to be the worst kind of slop. This sucks so bad www.theverge.com/tech/896490/...

See, this is why I'm so far behind on TV shows. I could be watching new stuff, but instead I'm on my second full watch through of a 4-hour video essay.

Price will obviously be a big factor, but unlike Microsoft, Steam is capable of NOT stepping on the rakes in front of them... sometimes.

Yeah, I think I gotta start saving now, because next year looks expensive. I've been wanting to drop Xbox because... well look at them, but I still want a console-ish experience for my PC. That Steam Machine probably has me, but the VR headset looks tops too.

Remember folks. The original bluesky ethos by us bluesky elders (apparently I count?) is block and move on.

Don't quote dunk, don't pick fights.
Block, and move on.

This is what made this site unpalatable to the right early on, and we can continue to make it unpalatable to them.

Every great studio does it. Look at naughty dog, fromsoft etc. things need to be allowed to end. Sadly Microsoft want bankable franchises, not great studios.
